No More Ice Rink

We put the girls to work today after school taking down the ice rink! They were good little workers even if they complained a lot!

New Year's Day Hockey--WARNING- Picture Overload

Mallory, Hayley and Brittney had a great day playing hockey today. A few neighbor friends came over to play-- Morgan, Taigen and Hope! Several of the pictures I took from inside the shack with water droplets on the plexiglass! 

The girls have been ice skating a lot—they are getting really good. Hayley can skate backwards really well and she is really good at playing hockey. They have had lots of friends come over and try it out too.

Ice Skating Rink

Scott started putting up the ice rink today! Hopefully it gets cold enough for it to freeze. We worked on it from 2 until 10 (Scott had Brittney and I go in around 6:30 because we were both coughing a lot even though we were pretty bundled up). We didn't put the rink up last winter since we were heavy into our home addition project. The girls are pretty excited-- looking forward to ice skating in the backyard. Hopefully we get some really cold days in freezing temperatures in the coming days!
