Late Night Bowling with the Young Single Adults

The Young Single Adults went bowling for their activity this month at Fat Cats in Ogden. We had lanes from 9:00 p.m. until midnight. Scott and I decided we would take the girls--they love being with the YSA's and they really wanted to go bowling. I made Mallory, Hayley and Brittney take naps this afternoon and I kept telling them we were not even leaving our house to go bowling until way past their bedtime! They thought they were so cool staying up soo late! We got to Fat Cats a little early and were waiting for all the young singles to come (they are always 10-30 minutes late). We were standing right by the arcade and my girls found a little Merry Go Round to play and they were very happy just to be sitting on it. Well, some lady came over and stuck a token in it because she was obviously feeling sorry for my kids because the Merry Go Round wasn't even moving. I thanked the lady and then I purchased $5 worth of tokens and our girls round around and around and around while waiting.

We were able to play two games before the night was over. The girls really had a lot of fun! Mallory got two strikes tonight while Hayley and Brittney each got one strike!! The girls really enjoyed the icies and cookie Scott bought for them to eat in between their turns. The girls held out really well being up so late (Brittney started getting tired around 11:45). They were all out in the truck on the way home! Luckily only Mallory had school the next morning and with kindergarten being only two hours on Friday's she made it through school alright. It was a fun night!! We'll need to go bowling more often just as a family!!

Brittney watching her ball roll down to the pins (they seemed to take forever at 5-6 miles per hour)

I GOT A STRIKE!!!! This is sooo much fun!--Brittney

Waiting and hoping!!!- Scott and Mallory
