The girls were dying of heat today! Since we haven't started any special "Pioneer Day" traditions (watching parades, barbecues, fireworks, etc.), Scott opened up the hot tub for the girls to swim. He got out our Slip N Slide and put it at the bottom of the slide and sprayed the slide with the hose. The girls had thought they had died and gone to heaven!! They had a blast! Scott quickly realized our Slip N Slide just wasn't long enough so he grabbed a big sheet of plastic we had in the garage and made his own Slip N Slide. The girls flew down the slide and down the plastic and they almost hit the back fence (which is about 15 yards from the end of the slide)! They had a ball!! Here are a few shots of the girls having the time of their lives playing in the hot tub and sliding down their own personal water slide!!
